Xpollens scales up with new General Manager
Xpollens, Groupe BPCE’s Banking-as-a-Service platform established in mid-2021, enters scale-up phase and has announced the arrival of Jacques-Olivier Schatz as General Manager to spearhead this acceleration. Alongside Jean Guillaume, CEO of the company since its foundation, he will support the growth of this Paytech, which operates in the innovative BaaS and embedded payment markets.
“Xpollens has entered a period of accelerated growth to become a leading Banking-as-a-Service provider in France and Europe. The arrival of Jacques-Olivier, with his experience in hyper-growth fintechs, will enable us to strengthen the company’s management and successfully scale up.” Jean Guillaume, CEO of Xpollens.
Established in mid-2021, in recent months Xpollens has focussed its efforts on enhancing its technological platform, with the aim of offering direct access to its entire catalogue of banking functions via APIs, and as white label products. The fintech expects to rapidly gain market share and attract companies from all sectors that want to integrate on-demand payment solutions.
Currently, the Paytech offers the latest generation of tools for companies wishing to optimise their payment flows or their customers’ experience: instantaneous receipt and payment by means of instant transfers or virtual cards, customer engagement with the issuing of white label payment cards, simplified management of payment deadlines, or the reconciliation of flows with virtual IBANs.
“I am delighted to be joining the dynamic teams at Xpollens, who play a game-changing role in the digitalisation of businesses. Payments embedded directly into companies’ offerings and processes, with simple API integration, are revolutionising both the customer and employee experience.” Jacques-Olivier Schatz, General Manager of Xpollens.
Former CEO of Pledg and Nickel, Jacques-Olivier Schatz is experienced in the structuring and management of diverse and fast-growing businesses, and will enable Xpollens to successfully embark upon this new chapter of its history. Xpollens already has a number of major customers such as CROUS with the Izly student card (more than 2 million users), the employee benefits company Bimpli (more than one million users), and the Adeo group, which owns a number of major DIY and home decoration retailers. It has already demonstrated the robustness of its platform, and now has an additional asset to build on.
